History:

The Revelation Brass is a traditional brass quintet formed in 1998 at Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.  It is composed mostly of “non-music majors” who really enjoy playing at a reasonably high level, but have to work for a living.  We practice once a week and play 20-25 church services and other gigs, every year.  From the beginning, we have opened the group to talented High School students.

Repertoire:

Our repertoire has evolved over the years from traditional hymns and classical literature to Gospel, Showtunes, Big Band, Dixieland, and a host of other styles of music.  And as we have evolved as a musical group, the level of play and difficulty of the music we are able to perform has improved – opening the door to a wider variety of music.  A list of music in our library is available on this website.
